Below you will find information on our current volunteer needs as well as a link to our online form to sign up for any opportunities that interest you. As the school year progresses and we get more specific volunteer needs, the sign up links for those specific opportunities can be found here as well.

Before you can volunteer at the school you will need to fill out a confidentially form. It is important to understand the confidentiality and commitment guidelines when working with students and school information. Please review the guidelines and turn in a signed copy to the front office. Confidentiality Pledge

CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
GRADE LEVEL ACTIVITIES
Assist with 6th grade activities such as Kazaam (January) and Olympic Day (May)
Assist with 7th grade activities such as May Day
Assist with 8th grade activities such as End of Year Party/Dance (May)
Provide food or help setup or cleanup for a monthly breakfast, lunch, or treat events for teachers and staff
Help as a lunch monitor during all lunches (11:20 – 1:40) (or for A, B or C lunch periods)
PARKING/CARPOOL LINE ASSISTANCE
Help direct traffic during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up and special events
MORNING AIDE COVERAGE
Your main task will be to chaperone the students in the morning before the tardy bell rings and they are released to class. You will check into the office when you arrive at school to get your volunteer badge and any additional instructions.
Assist with campus beautification projects such as courtyard cleanup and seasonal planting
Help with book fairs and other library events
LTMS SCHOOL STORE
Work the store before school (8:00 – 8:40) or during lunches (11:30 – 1:40)
STAAR Testing Monitor (March, April, May)
We also need volunteers to help monitor the bathrooms on testing days.
Picture Day (Fall and Spring)
Chaperone school events such as dances (Fall and Spring)
Career Day Speaker
