Valentine's Dance
Friday, February 10th
6:30 to 8:30pm
Cost is $5.00 at door, pizza and drinks are $1.00 each, door prizes given, sweet and snacks will be provided, DJ Flash our 7th grade math teacher will be djing, dress is casual or dress up, (dress code must be followed), bring a friend or come solo....

Sixth graders need three immunizations BEFORE entering seventh grade! The Care Van offers these immunizations FREE and will be at the Educational Center by Lake Travis Elementary on February 22nd, from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Your student can be ready for seventh grade at no expense to you!

 7th Grade KAB Field Trip

7th & 8th Grade Spring Sports Parent Meeting
Tuesday, February 7th at 6:00pm in the LTMS Gymnasium. The LTMS Athletic Department will go over participation requirements, equipment needs, evaluation or tryout process, practice and meet schedules for 7th and 8th grade track, golf, and tennis.

Tickets go on sale beginning Thursday, February 2nd in the LTMS front office. Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $8.00 at the door.
Last year the early show sold out completely. Parents of students involved should purchase tickets early to avoid missing the opportunity to see their child perform!!

Attn 8th Graders
For 8th graders interested in trying out as a Lake Travis High School cheerleader next year, the mandatory information meeting for 2012 -2013 Cheerleading Tryouts will be Wednesday, February 8th at 6:30pm in the LTHS Cafeteria. All candidates and a parent or guardian will need to attend this meeting.
Red Ruby tryouts are coming up. There will be a mandatory parent meeting on February 6th from 6:30-7:00pm. There will be a tryout workshop the week of February 27th-March 1st with tryouts on March 2nd. All workshops and the tryout will be in the Lake Travis High School Gyms. Please stop by and pick up a Red Ruby Tryout packet from Mrs. Rule. If you have any questions please contact Abigail Payne, paynea@ltisdschools.org or at LTHS. See you at the tryout.

What: FitSmart Expo and Randy Saucedo Memorial Mile and 5K run sponsored by LTISD Food & Nutrition Services

The Directors of the Lake Travis Education Foundation invite you to attend an Open House on Wednesday, February 8th. This informal yet informative one-hour event will provide an opportunity for you to learn what it means to be a director and how you can help support education in our schools. They will discuss the purpose of LTEF and how the directors work together to support exemplary education in the Lake Travis Independent School District. You'll learn more about LTEF's annual fundraising events, including the upcoming Casino Royale Gala. They will also share examples of how LTEF's grant and scholarship programs are enhancing education in our school district.
