Olympic Day May 24, 2013
Olympic Day is an annual end of the year event JUST FOR our 6th grade students! The students will compete in track and field events on the LTMS football field in the morning, have lunch in the cafe, and have more fun after that!
LTMS PTO will provide each student a free bottle of water and will run the concession stand for the students to purchase additional drinks and snacks. We will need volunteers to man the concession stand. Please sign up for a spot to volunteer at the concession stand and be a part of a fun day!
We're using VolunteerSpot (the leading online signup and reminder tool) to organize our upcoming activity.
Please sign up for Olympic Day Concessions! - here's how it works in 3 easy steps: 1. Click HERE to go to our invitation page on VolunteerSpot.
Note: VolunteerSpot does not share your email address with anyone. If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact Jennifer Horne HERE, and she can sign you up manually.

Education Update
One day (usually friday) each week, the students participate in a guided, anti-bullying related discussion during their FLEX period. During the FLEX Olweus meetings on Feb 8th the students focused on cyber-bullying. On the 15th, they talked about the role of bystanders. Ask your child about it.
If you as a parent become aware of a bullying incident, please click HERE and complete the Bullying Incident Form. It could make a tremendous difference in the life of a student.
Please contact Shelia Parodi HERE with any questions or comments.
